AN UNEXPECTED FLAT?

First, find somewhere safe.

Never attempt a tyre repair on a motorway. If you cannot reach safety and leave your vehicle safely, keep your seat belt on and call 999 for the police.

Official tyre safety advice
Can you fit tyres at my home or workplace?

Yes, subject to postcode availability and a safe, level working area with permission to access your vehicle. Choose a preferred visit window; the appointment is confirmed after stock and technician availability are checked.

How do I find my tyre size?

Look at your tyre sidewall for a marking such as 205/55 R16. Check all tyres, as front and rear sizes can differ. The size, load and speed rating must match your vehicle’s requirements. Your fitter verifies the specification before any work.

Can every puncture be repaired?

No. A technician must inspect the tyre before confirming that a repair is suitable. The position and extent of damage, tyre condition and previous repairs can mean a replacement is needed.

What is included in my estimate?

Our guide estimate separates tyres or service labour, the mobile visit and any priority surcharge. Replacement estimates include standard fitting, balancing and a standard valve. Specialist valves or TPMS work require a separate quote. Displayed amounts use an assumed VAT-inclusive basis. The team confirms the final quote and tax treatment; no payment is taken on this website.

Is my appointment confirmed immediately?

Your request is sent to the Tyre Rescue team. The team checks your location, tyre stock and requested window before confirming the final price and visit. The on-screen reference confirms receipt of your request; it is not an arrival-time promise. Save your reference and access code, as this website does not send automatic email or SMS.

When should I replace my tyres?

For cars and light vans, the legal minimum tread depth is 1.6 mm across the central three-quarters of the tread and around its full circumference. Tyres must also be free of unsafe damage and correctly inflated. Read the official vehicle safety guidance linked below.
